Effective Business writing for non-native English speakers (Intermediate)
Within the work environment, non-native communicators/writers are often reminded of the fact that they are not mother-tongue speakers… which can be really annoying.
Learn how to write a text that gets noticed and read… and earn yourself some kudos along the way.
Which topics will be covered?
- What makes a good business writer?
- Learn to think clearly and write what you mean.
- Think like a reader: Write copy that gets read by making it more relevant and valuable to your audience.
- Identifying and fixing language/writing problems.
The aim of this workshop is to help you find your own unique writing style and voice. Workshops are kept to a maximum of 10 people so that one-on-one instruction can be provided throughout the day.
The format of the one-day workshop is as follows:
Check-in and welcome coffee: 08:30
Workshop: 09:00 – 13:00 and 14.00 – 17.00
Lunch: 13.00 – 14.00

A light lunch and refreshments are provided, as are all workshops materials.
On completion of the workshop, participants will each receive an invaluable aide-memoire for continued effective business writing.
